The Tanzania Ministry of Minerals organizes the Mining and Investment Conference, aiming to share firsthand experiences from various stakeholders regarding their activities and the connections between different players in the mining and mineral value chain.
The conference also seeks to document the government’s commitment to practices, legal and institutional frameworks, certification mechanisms, and the working relationships between governments, chain of custody service providers, and companies involved in mining, mineral processing, and export.
Among other objectives, the conference seeks to discuss and achieve a common understanding of the management of the mining sector and the maximization of its benefits.
The Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference is an initiative designed to bring together stakeholders from the government, the private sector, and specifically the mining industry to enhance market demands and standards, raising the economic value of mining and mineral activities in the country while promoting available investment opportunities.
