“I came back to the mining game in the early 2000’s, as a principal investor and I had a concept and a theory on gold which I wrote about and published because I believed that gold price was going to go higher. I wanted to create a gold mining company so we started a company in 2001 called Wheaten River which became GoldCorp Inc., and incredibly became one of the world’s largest gold mining companies in 11 years of acquisitions.”
