What a show! Mines and Money London ran from 26-29 November at the Business Design Centre in Islington. A great combination of mining companies, government agencies and investors, each day saw a showcase from a different region of the world; Monday – Latin America, Tuesday – Africa, Wednesday – Australia and Thursday – Canada.
Take a look at our highlights video:
The MiningIR team were filming interviews across all four days of the show and we’ll be publishing those in the coming days. The best way to keep up to date with us is to, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
One of the features we really enjoyed was the ‘World Cup of Mining Pitch Battles’ – a kind of Dragon’s Den/Shark Tank competition with an expert panel of judges taking pitches apart. For us, this provided a great opportunity to see what investors are looking for from companies and some of the tips we picked up were invaluable.
From state-of-the-art autonomous drones capable of carrying out aeromagnetic surveys to millions of dollars worth of gold, all mining life was here.
