At Mines and Money London, we were lucky enough to catch up with Scott McLean, President & CEO Transition Metals.
Scott provides an overview of the company and explains why they favour the project generator model, and how he sees this as helping to mitigate some of the risk involved in exploration. The company has been active for many years and is currently involved in some capacity in approximately thirty-nine projects in Canada.
Key projects for Transition Metals include Highland Gold in Nova Scotia which shows widespread gold mineralisation, and Sunday Lake in Ontario which is focused on platinum group metals.
Scott goes on to discuss two of their spin out companies, Canadian Gold Miner, which Transition own about 40% of, and SPC Metals, a Sudbury focussed energy metals company.
