At Mines and Money London, we were lucky enough to catch up with Time Livesey, CEO of Oriole Resources. Oriole is an AIM listed exploration company primarily operating in Senegal and Cameroon with some legacy assets in Turkey.
Tim goes into some detail on their targets in Africa, but with a focus on their work in Cameroon, and explains how Cameroon is making itself more attractive to mining companies at the moment:
“Cameroon is opening itself up to mining investment as we speak. They’ve identified an opportunity as a country to attract investment. The minerals ministry there is behind a push to build out a nationwide geological, geophysical and geochemical dataset to help.”
