If you’re interested in zinc, then Pasinex Resources might well be a name you’re familiar with. We spoke with Steve Williams, CEO of Pasinex Resources, to find out about their profitable zinc mine in Turkey, in addition to ongoing exploration close to the mine.
Approximately a year ago Pasinex also acquired an early exploration zinc project in Nevada. The Nevada project has shown a different form of mineralisation to what Pasinex had expected. That form of mineralisation is shared with some of the larger, successful projects in Nevada currently, so Pasinex are full of hope. It’s early days, and still a lot of drilling to perform, so watch this space – and the interview – below:
About Pasinex Resources
Pasinex Resources Limited has established a world-class leadership team to explore, develop and mine promising high grade zinc-lead-silver and copper properties in mineral-rich parts of Turkey and Nevada, USA. In Turkey, management has chosen to focus on areas that are within the two Anatolian Faults, running both northerly and easterly, because they host very high-grade mineralized systems. Pasinex, along with Joint Venture partner Akmetal, are currently producing high-grade zinc from their Horzum property.
Pasinex has offices in Canada and Turkey.
