In this segment with The Ellis Martin Report and Money Talk Radio, Ellis Martin sits down with Roger Rosmus, Founder and CEO of Goliath Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: GOT | OTCQX: GOTRF) to discuss the company’s expanding Surebet Discovery at its Golddigger Property in British Columbia’s prolific Golden Triangle. With a fully funded 50,000-metre drill program underway, Rosmus explains why each new hole continues to reinforce the scale and potential of one of Canada’s most exciting emerging gold discoveries.
The 2026 drill season is already delivering encouraging results. Initial drilling has expanded the Bonanza Zone by approximately 750 metres to the southwest and the Golden Gate Zone by 600 metres, further extending mineralization in multiple directions.

“It demonstrates the potential of the vastness of this system. It still remains open, and every year we’re making it bigger and better,” Rosmus told Martin. “It’s over a kilometre, which is pretty significant when you think about that.”
Those results continue an impressive track record since the discovery of Surebet in 2021. Goliath has now completed more than 156,000 metres of drilling, maintaining an extraordinary 100% drill hit rate, while approximately 92% of drill holes have intersected visible gold mineralization.
Rosmus attributes that consistency to the unique geology of the project. “We’ve got these various zones with multiple stacked veins like a layer cake, so we’re able to hit multiple veins depending on where we’re drilling. The fact that there is so much visible gold in the system is, again, a very unique situation.”
The company expects to have seven drill rigs operating on the property this summer as it aggressively expands the discovery and searches for the magmatic feeder source believed to be driving the extensive gold system. Research conducted alongside the Colorado School of Mines has identified increasingly favourable pathfinder elements, coarser gold and copper mineralization at depth, suggesting the system may continue to strengthen.
Financially, Goliath remains in a strong position to execute its ambitious exploration plans. The company holds approximately $53 million in cash and liquid securities, providing the flexibility to continue drilling well into 2027 without requiring additional financing. Earlier this year, Goliath also secured 100% ownership of the Golddigger Property while reducing the project’s net smelter royalty, giving the company greater strategic flexibility as it advances toward future development.
Rosmus noted that full ownership opens several potential paths forward. “Having 100% ownership really gives us optionality. Either we’re going to sell this at some point or we’re going to build a mine.”
With drilling continuing throughout the summer, investors can expect a steady stream of assay results that will further define the scale of the Surebet Discovery.
“We’ve got 50,000 metres of assay news that’s going to be filling up the pipeline,” Rosmus said. “We’re hopeful the market will stabilize, and we can get back to those 52-week highs—and maybe make some new 52-week highs—based on the good news we think is coming from the assays and what we’re seeing early in this year’s program.”
