Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd.

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd (CSE: GCC | OTC: GCCFF | WKN: A0RLEP) is a leading junior exploration company located in the historic Cariboo Mining District of central British Columbia, Canada.

The Company has been operating in the Cariboo since the discovery year of Osisko Development Corp’s (CSE: ODV | NYSE: ODV) Bonanza Ledge in 2000.

Golden Cariboo’s success is driven by an experienced management team who strategically acquire, responsibly explore and develop world class mineral properties. In addition to advancing their 299 hectare mineral assets within the heart of the Cariboo Gold Project along the Barkerville Gold Belt near Wells, BC, the Company’s primary focus is the exploration and development of their 3814 hectare Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property located near Hixon, British Columbia

Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property

Golden Cariboo Resources’ Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property is strategically located in a highly prospective geological corridor, bookended by Osisko Development Corp.’s project, which is advancing toward production. Situated within similar geological formations, the Quesnelle Property benefits from excellent infrastructure and resource accessibility.

The 3,814-hectare property comprises 21 contiguous mineral tenures, offering year-round accessibility via established forest service roads connected to Highway 97 near Hixon, British Columbia. Acquired by Golden Cariboo Resources in 2019, the property is bordered to the north, south, and west by Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (“BGM”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Osisko Development Corp. (CSE: ODV | NYSE: ODV). In 2016, BGM expanded its footprint by staking a 40-kilometer belt of mineral claims surrounding the historic Quesnelle Quartz Mining Company Ltd. claims, which include past underground workings and a reclaimed millsite near Hixon Creek.

Historical placer gold production along Hixon Creek was documented in Annual Reports to the Minister of Mines up to 1945, estimating approximately $2 million worth of gold recovered. Placer mining remains active along Hixon Creek today.

At the heart of the property lies the historical Quesnel Quartz gold-silver deposit, discovered in 1865 during placer mining operations. Historical records indicate production of 2,048 tonnes grading 3.14 g/t gold and 4.18 g/t silver in the years 1932 and 1939, with an additional 217 tonnes of undocumented grade reported in 1878. The geological model identified for the property is classified as orogenic, characterized by gold-bearing quartz veins and quartz-carbonate-pyrite replacement mineralization, similar to Osisko Development’s Cariboo Gold Project located approximately 75 kilometers southeast.
