The March 27, 2026 report underscores continued drilling success at the company’s Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia’s prolific Cariboo Mining District. In particular, the Halo Zone has emerged as a central value driver, with recent results reinforcing both the scale and continuity of mineralization. Notably, hole QGQ25-27 returned 0.89 g/t gold over 70.65 metres from near surface—one of the strongest intercepts reported to date .

According to Wortel, these results are not isolated. Step-out drilling continues to expand the footprint of the system, with mineralization remaining open in all directions. This suggests significant upside potential as the company continues to test the broader corridor. The report also highlights deeper drilling, including hole QGQ25-28, which intersected geological indicators consistent with gold mineralization over an extended depth.

A major milestone identified in the report is Golden Cariboo’s decision to commission a maiden NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). This move is described as an “early but strategic” step that signals confidence in the underlying geological model and data density. The MRE will incorporate results from dozens of drill holes and is expected to serve as a key catalyst for potential re-rating.

From a valuation standpoint, Couloir Capital reiterates a BUY rating with a fair value estimate of C$0.50 per share, representing a substantial premium to the current trading price of approximately C$0.09 at the time of publication . The firm notes that Golden Cariboo is trading at a significant discount to comparable early-stage explorers, despite strong indications of a scalable gold system.

The report also points to broader exploration upside across the company’s extensive land package, which hosts multiple mineralized trends beyond the Halo and Main zones. Comparisons are drawn to nearby deposits within the same structural corridor, reinforcing the potential for a district-scale discovery.

However, Wortel cautions that risks remain typical of early-stage exploration companies. These include drilling uncertainty, financing needs, and the absence of a currently defined resource. Seasonal operating constraints and permitting considerations in British Columbia are also noted as factors investors should consider.

Overall, the Couloir Capital report positions Golden Cariboo as a high-risk, high-reward opportunity, with near-term catalysts including further drilling results and the anticipated maiden resource estimate.
