BEAVER CREEK, CO – The opening day of the 2025 Precious Metals Summit Beaver Creek delivered on its promise, setting the tone for what is shaping up to be a landmark week in the mining investment calendar. With a packed agenda, influential voices, and strong networking opportunities, the first day left attendees energized and eager for what’s to come.
Morning Highlights
The day began with registration at Gerald R. Ford Hall, where delegates checked in and reconnected with peers. A buffet breakfast at both the Ford Center and Beaver Creek Lodge gave participants the chance to start conversations that carried throughout the day.
The morning program in Gerald Ford Hall featured heavyweight insights from across the precious metals spectrum. Ronald-Peter Stöferle opened with “The Big Long: Performance Gold’s ‘Hautacam Moment,’” followed by Florian Grummes, who provided a technical update on gold. John Feneck and Don Durrett engaged in a lively conversation, setting the stage for a marquee panel discussion. Industry leaders Jonathan Goodman, Warren Irwin, Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, and Anthony Vaccaro then shared their perspectives in Decades of Deals, Discoveries & Discipline: How Mining Legends Deliver Returns, a session that drew strong engagement from the audience.
Afternoon Company Presentations
After lunch, company presentations kicked off in Heritage Hall. In Room 1, Blackrock Silver Corp. (TSX-V: BRC) outlined its exploration progress, while Room 2 featured Newcore Gold Ltd. (TSX-V: NCAU), which provided investors with updates on its growth strategy. Both sessions underscored the diversity of opportunities available to the mining investment community this year.
Keynote Conversation
Later in the day, one of the most anticipated events of the summit took place: a keynote conversation between Frank Giustra and Alex Deluce. Giustra’s perspectives on capital markets, commodities, and the future of mining once again drew a packed house, reaffirming his position as one of the industry’s most influential voices.
Networking Reception
The day concluded with the Welcome Reception “For the Shareholders” in Crooked Hearth, hosted by the Precious Metals Summit. Attendees took full advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to connect, exchange ideas, and set the groundwork for new partnerships.
